Data and code for: Elapsed irrigation time improves morpho-kinematic classification of lettuce irrigation-stress histories

This archive contains the analysis-ready dataset and reproducible analysis code used for the manuscript “Elapsed irrigation time improves morpho-kinematic classification of lettuce irrigation-stress histories.” The dataset comprises 140 plant-day observations from 24 lettuce plants across two controlled-environment experiments. It includes treatment metadata, irrigation schedule descriptors, elapsed irrigation time, and raw morpho-kinematic descriptors as used and defined in a previous paper https://doi.org/10.1016/j.atech.2026.101930. Δt basis construction, morpho-kinematic preprocessing, model design scaling, model fitting, validation, permutation analyses, redundancy analysis, interaction diagnostics, and report generation are performed within the included Python pipeline using training-data parameters only. The archive includes the analysis-ready CSV dataset, a column-level data dictionary, dataset metadata, SHA-256 checksums, configuration files, Python source code, environment specifications, tests, and documentation of the expected output structure. Code is distributed under the MIT License. Dataset reuse is permitted under CC-BY-4.0 unless otherwise stated in the manuscript or associated data documentation.
