This study investigates the functional constraints of a highly conserved 3' untranslated region (3' UTR) in the Elavl4 (HuD) gene across vertebrates. We generated a knockout mouse model targeting the 2.6 kb conserved 3' UTR of Elavl4 to analyze its role in vivo. Long-read transcriptome profiling (Oxford Nanopore PromethION) were performed on brain tissues from wild-type, heterozygous, and homozygous knockout mice. The dataset includes raw sequencing reads and processed splicing variants. Metadata integrates genotype, tissue source, and sequencing platform details.
