资源简介:
Tracking its evolution from 1984 to 2024 using bibliometric approaches, the paper "A Bibliometric Analysis of Sustainable Political Education" presents a complete review of the scientific literature at the crossroads of sustainability and political education. This work investigates utilizing a range of quantitative techniques the publishing trends, citation patterns, and notable writers in this discipline. Emphasizing the importance of civic involvement, environmental policy, and reform of educational curricula to encourage sustainable, democratic participation, it stresses the rising integration of sustainability inside political education. By means of rigorously scrutinizing this corpus of data, the study offers perceptive analysis of the primary concepts, issues, and areas of collaboration affecting the discourse on sustainable political education. Among the key findings is the very notable increase in research output in recent years, particularly starting with 2016. Concurrent with global projects as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, this rise shows the global awareness of the relevance of sustainability. Scholarly work on sustainability and education has been greatly influenced by these ideas, which has led to an explosion of research aiming at linking political education with worldwide environmental programs. Leading authorities in the field, Sustainability (Switzerland) and Environmental Education Research, publish a number of studies examining how sustainability should be introduced into political philosophy, laws, and educational systems. Moreover included in the study are classic publications like Sen's Development as Freedom and the Brundtland Report, which are still crucial in shaping scholarly discussions on the subject.
