We here provide the results of three inverse grid search for a fault-propgation fold restoration, using a trishear kinematic modeling. The case study is a shallow break-through fault-propgation fold cutting through a thick sequence of Neogene fluvial and aeolian deposits. The fault is belonging to the external fronts of the Italian Southern Alps (N Italy).
We used the code after Allmendinger (1998) (i.e., Fault-Fold code) and we here provide the tested combinations of the six variables of trishear kinematics (see Allmendinger 1998 for futher explanations). We chose the best fit solution based on chi square fitting results, reported in the table for each tested combination of variables. Please, refr to the associated paper for results discussion.
