A Prospective Cross-Instrument Calibration Framework for Volatile Production-Rate Measurements of Future LSST-Detected Interstellar Objects

This deposit contains the analysis notebook and derived data tables supporting "A Prospective Cross-Instrument Calibration Framework for Volatile Production-Rate Measurements of Future LSST-Detected Interstellar Objects" (Dumpati, in preparation), a prospective framework for cross-instrument calibration of volatile production-rate measurements from future Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST)-detected interstellar objects. The framework is developed and tested retrospectively against the calibrated 3I/ATLAS production-rate dataset from a companion analysis (Dumpati, 2026, Research Square preprint, https://doi.org/10.21203/rs.3.rs-10618455/v1; dataset and code archived at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.21480534). This deposit does not duplicate that dataset. The notebook included here loads it directly, applies three targeted data corrections identified during this manuscript's preparation (documented in the notebook and README), and uses the corrected dataset to generate the instrument-bias tables, uncertainty-budget template, and retrospective cross-instrument and same-instrument test results reported in the manuscript. Included files: a single python notebook (data loading, correction, and full analysis pipeline) and six derived CSV output tables covering instrument-level aperture and fluorescence status, aperture-correction magnitude by instrument, fluorescence-model confirmation status, the uncertainty-budget coverage template, and two retrospective test results (cross-instrument convergence between small- and large-aperture measurements; same-instrument agreement between two independent research teams' production-rate measurements). This deposit is separate from, and depends on, the companion 3I/ATLAS analysis's own Zenodo deposit (DOI above), rather than being a new version of it, since it represents an independent manuscript with its own distinct contribution.
