Pb concentrations in the Alto dell'Ortles ice cores

The dataset refers to Pb concentration values obtained from the Alto dell'Ortles cores #1 and #3, drilled on the Alto dell'Ortles glacier (3859 m a.s.l.) in South Tyrol, Italy, in September/October 2011 (Lat:46.51 N, Long: 10.54 E). The determined Rb concentrations (used as a crustal reference to calculate non crustal Pb concentrations) in core #3 are also reported. Ice core 1 was analyzed in the framework of the Michele Berto's PhD thesis carried out at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy. Ice core 3 was analyzed at the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA.
