Artifact of the paper "What Drives Issue Resolution Speed? An Empirical Study of Scientific Workflow Systems on GitHub"

To support transparency and reproducibility, we provide a publicly available replication package containing all materials used in this study. The package is organized into four main directories: Scripts/ – This folder includes all Jupyter notebook scripts used for data collection, preprocessing, and statistical analysis. The data collection scripts employ the GitHub REST API to retrieve issues, and repository metadata, while the analysis scripts compute descriptive statistics, correlations, and significance tests (e.g., Wilcoxon rank-sum, and effect sizes). Issues/ – This folder contains both raw and processed datasets of issues and pull requests collected from the selected repositories. MetaData/ – This directory provides the repository-level metadata obtained through the GitHub API, including the number of contributors, stars, forks, and watchers. These data support analyses of project popularity, community size, and structural characteristics. Results/ – This folder contains derived data and statistical outputs used in the paper, including tables, figures, and summary statistics referenced in the Results and Discussion sections. Together, these materials allow independent researchers to fully reproduce our analyses and verify the findings reported in this paper.
