Bridging the gap: A new species of arboreal Abronia (Squamata: Anguidae) from the Northern Highlands of Chiapas, Mexico

In this work, we describe a new species of arboreal Abronia (Reptilia) that is known only from the type locality in the Northern Highlands of Chiapas, Mexico. We include phylogenomic data (ddradseq) of the new species and closely related taxa (including the recently described A. morenica) to obtain a robust hypothesis of the phylogenetic relationships of this taxon.
