Transcriptome analysis of differentially expressed genes in foregut and hindgut of black carp (Mylopharyngodon piceus)

Through the transcriptome analysis of the foregut and hindgut of black carp, we obtained a large number of clean reads. Among the 48061 genes in the foregut and hindgut, the genes with the highest expression levels are mainly related to various digestive enzymes. In addition, we also screened 1761 DEGs. The results suggest that the foregut requires more genes to handle metabolism and digestion and absorption, and the hindgut needs more genes to process the body's immunity. In conclution, these data provide valuable information for further study of intestinal molecular biology of black carp and other teleost.
