Data Supporting information for the manuscript titled "Climate conundrum: a wet or dry European and Northern African climate during the middle Miocene" Dataset 1: Miocene_EuropeManuscript_Acostaetal2024-AnnualMean.nc The dataset contains climate variables: surface temperature (deg C), total precipitation (mm), surface evaporation (mm), P-E (mm), and integrated moisture flux (Kg m s-1). The experiment array is ordered as Mio400.NAZM, Mio400, Mio840. Dataset 2: Reconstruction_MasterDS.xlsx The dataset contains proxy compilations: MioMIP1 sea surface temperature, MioMIP1 paleobotanical mean annual precipitation and surface temperature, middle Miocene herpetological mean annual precipitation, and middle Miocene CReST mean annual precipitation and surface temperature.
