A Dataset for Spatiotemporal Analysis of Soil Moisture in Shandong Province, China Based on ERA5-Land Data

This dataset was created to support the research presented in the manuscript titled “Spatiotemporal patterns of soil moisture in Shandong Province, China: An analysis using ERA5-Land datasets”. It contains the minimal data necessary to replicate the study’s main findings. The data originates from the ERA5-Land reanalysis product, processed (e.g., cropped, resampled) to extract soil moisture variables (typically including volumetric soil water content at multiple layers) over the Shandong Province domain. This dataset aims to enhance research reproducibility and provide fundamental data for hydrological, agricultural, and climatic studies in Shandong Province.
