资源简介:
Quantitative measurement of circulating metabolites may help to identify tissue specific metabolic pathways that are modulated by or causal for a disease condition. The aim of the study was to explore associations between plasma lipid concentrations and gene expression in pancreatic Ã-cells and insulin target tissues in a mouse model of pre-diabetes to uncover molecular mechanisms and biomarkers of diabetes susceptibility. Overall design: Murine liver, soleus muscle and visceral adipose tissue transcriptome of three genetically different mouse strains (C57Bl/6J, DBA/2J and BALB/cJ), fed with a high fat diet (HFD) or a regular chow (RC) for different periods of time: 5, 13 and 13 days.
