In the major grain-producing regions of Northeast China, this dataset covers the daytime and nighttime water consumption of rice, the primary local crop, during each growth stage spanning 2017 to 2018. The daytime water consumption corresponds to the period from 08:00 to 20:00 on the same day, while the nighttime water consumption covers the interval from 20:00 on the current day to 08:00 the following day.
