Indonesian Cryptocurrency Social Media Corpus (Jan 2023 – Jun 2024)

This dataset consists of 2,127,384 tweets collected from X/Twitter over an 18-month period using a comprehensive list of Indonesian cryptocurrency keywords (e.g., “bitcoin,” “kripto,” “blockchain,” “ethereum”) and 47 related terms. After language detection and filtering, 1,823,492 tweets were confirmed as Indonesian, while 287,156 tweets exhibited Indonesian–English code-mixing. The corpus captures discussions on price movement, market sentiment, regulation, and community interaction, and it reflects geographic concentration in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Medan, making it the largest Indonesian crypto-discourse dataset known in this study.
