Environmental DNA metabarcoding analysis of vertebrates in lakes and waterfalls in Babeldaob Island, the Republic of Palau

Metabarcoding sequence analysis of freshwater samples of the Republic of Palau based on mitochondrial 12S rRNA partial sequences amplified by MiFish primers. Four locations (Ngardmau waterfall, Ngardok lake, Ngatpang waterfall, and Ngchesar waterfall) in the Babeldaob Island were analyzed as the known or potential Leptospira-endemic area of the Republic of Palau.
