Transcriptome sequencing of Pinus yunnanensis by application of cytokinin

To further observe and understand the underlying mechanism of lateral bud initiation and upgrowth, we selected 0h, 8h, 72h, and 7d after application of 6-Benzylaminopurine (a synthetic analogs of cytokinin) in seedlings stem without lateral buds to carried out transcriptome sequencing. The young stem segments from below the stem apex to those with budding lateral buds or lateral branches were immediately collected and frozen in liquid.
