Higher concentrations of PFOA in the environment may impair the metabolic capacity of PCB-degrading functional bacteria and affect their remediation efficiency, thereby increasing the overall environmental load of combined pollution. Therefore, revealing the metabolic response mechanism of functional bacteria in the PCB and PFOA combined pollution system is of important guiding significance for the development of targeted soil pollution remediation technologies.
