RNA-Sequencing of Astrocytes Stimulated by LPS at different time points
收藏资源简介:
This investigation focuses on elucidating the transcriptomic alterations in astrocytes, a predominant cellular entity within the central nervous system, with pivotal roles in neuronal development, blood-brain barrier functionality, modulation of neuroimmune responses, and metabolic support for various brain-resident cells. The primary aim is to discern the differential mRNA expression profiles of mouse astrocytes subjected to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation at a concentration of 100ng/ml compared to those treated with phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). The study involves the stimulation of mouse astrocytes with LPS (100 ng/ml) and subsequent collection of cellular specimens at discrete time intervals (0, 6, 12, 24 hours) using Trizol reagent for subsequent RNA sequencing analysis.
