资源简介:
The aim of the study was to obtain the data on the changes brought by STEE in in vitro hepatocytes, with a focus on metabolism and mitochondria, to explore its unknown functional properties. In this study, the transcriptome-wide analysis using microarray was performed, whcih provide insights into the biological and molecular changes induced by STEE. The microarray allowed us to capture the transcriptome-wide changes induced by STEE in HepG2 hepatocytes. For example, STEE induced changes in the expression of genes involved in mitochondria activity, fatty acid metabolism, MAPK signaling, or cAMP signaling in HepG2 hepatocytes. Microarray analysis was performed in duplicates for each samples; STEE treatment groups were set at two concentrations, 15 µg/mL and 30 µg/mL, and exposed to HepG2 cells for 24 hours. RNA extraction from control HepG2 cells followed the same schedule as the extraction from STEE-treated HepG2 cells.
