Norwegian Election Study, 1977

The Norwegian Election Study in 1977 is included in the Election Reserach Program at Institute of Social Research - ISF - (1957-1977). The objective of the study is partly to extend the analyses of earlier elections, partly to study the actual tendencies in Norwegian politics and characteristics of the election to the National Assembly - Stortinget - in 1977.

Bernt Aardal and Henry Valen have been responsible at IFS for the study. Statistics Norway completed in 1977 a data collection for the Norwegian Election study 1977: ISF has prepared the questionnaires, while SSB has drawn the sample, completed the collection of data and organised the data files.
