The supplementary files contain information on the transcriptomic responses (liver tissue) of juvenile rainbow trout (~ 9 months of age) derived from two different hatchery strains. The fish were subjected to an acute thermal stress trial (~ 16 hours in duration) and gene expression profiles of Low tolerance fish, High tolerance fish, and Control fish were compared in pairwise fashion.
