MiR-520b inhibits endothelial activation by targeting NF-?B p65

We aimed to elucidate the impact of miR-520b on endothelial cell (EC) activation. To determine the potential targets of miR-520b, we performed RNA-seq analysis by transfecting miR-520b mimics in primary human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Overall design: To determine the potential targets of hsa-miR-520b, we synthesized the oligonucleotide sequence of mature miR-520b and then transfected it into HUVECs. MiR-520b mimics or control were transfected into cells at a final concentration of 100 nM using Lipofectamine RNAiMAX (Invitrogen) following manufacturer's protocol. 48 hours later, the cells were harvested for further use.
