Arusha (Tanzania) - Planned and Unplanned Settlement Areas (ESA EO4SD-Urban)

Planned and Unplanned Settlement information product contains spatial explicit information on the two settlement types within the core urban area. The distinction into the two settlement types is restricted to the residential area (LULC class 11), and to commercial areas (LULC class 1211) which also have a residential component. The Planned and Unplanned Settlements and Change dataset is based on Very High Resolution (VHR) satellite imagery (Quickbird-2 (2005) and Worldview-2, GeoEye-1 (2015, 2016)) by means of visual interpretation.
