2024 Integrated Report

State Water Resources Control Board Division of Water Quality staff have developed this map to graphically display the waterbody assessments in the 2024 Integrated Report. The Integrated Report combines the Clean Water Act section 305(b) water quality assessment and the section 303(d) list of impaired waters into one report that describes the water quality of California’s lakes, rivers, beaches, and other aquatic ecosystems. This map shows assessments for 305(b) categorization, including waterbody/pollutant combinations for placement on the 303(d) list of impaired waters. Note, this web application and associated layers should be used for informational purposes only. Map Layers: 2024 Integrated Report Lines: Spatial representation of the assessed linear waterbodies in California, such as streams, rivers, and beaches. 2024 Integrated Report Polygons: Spatial representation of the non-linear (polygon) waterbodies in California, such as bays, lakes, and reservoirs. CA Federally Recognized Tribes: Spatial representation of federally recognized tribes in California. Streams & Rivers and Lakes & Reservoirs with No Data: Waterbodies that have never been assessed nor had any data collected for them. These waterbodies are where data has not been readily available for Integrated Report assessments. WBNAME: Name of the listed waterbody. WBTYPE: Type of water (river, lake, etc) EST SIZE ASSESSED: Approximate size of the waterbody. SIZE ASSESSED UNIT: Size unit of measure. REGION NUMBER: Which Regional Water Quality Control Board has jurisdiction over the waterbody. Waterbody Counties: County where waterbody is located (may have multiple counties listed). Listing Status: If identified on the 303(d) list as impaired. Waterbody Category: Integrated Report Category for the waterbody. Listings 2024: New pollutant listings for the 2024 303(d) List and corresponding waterbody-pollutant Decision ID.
