Illumina 100bp PE sequencing of the genome of the wild diploid Musa balbisiana variety ''Pisang Klutuk Wulung'', ITC1587. This is considered to be one of the possible progenitors of the Musa B-genome, present in the edible, interspecific triploid Musa hybrids. The data was used to assemble a draft genome based on the reference M. acuminata genome, for the de novo assembly of gDNA contigs, for SNV, and variant detection, and to compare and characterise uRNA families.
