资源简介:
This folder contains one complete simulation (for a basin and \Delta R/R_v=2) and all the codes to reproduce the data for all the simulation. The main code is 2lwithtop_leap_v2.f90 to compile, use for example gfortran -O3 -o 2lwithtop 2lwithtop_leap_v2.f90 double_fft.f to run, you need the param.dat file which contains nx ny ! the dimensions in x and y (only tested for nx=ny=2^k, k \in \mnathbb{N}) nu cfl ! the hyperviscosity coefficient (bilaplacian diffusion) and CFL
gamma_0 gamma_1 gamma_2 alpha_0 ! The Rossby deformation length and the coefficient for topography (see further comments and references in 2lwithtop_leap_v2.f90 tmax tsav ! duration of run and time interval between data saves. drc ! normalised distance between vortex edges (0 for touching vortices)
outputs are files q1_xxxx.r4 where xxxx is the time index (data saved at t \simeq xxxx * tsav) they contain t,q1(nx,ny) & t,q2(nx,ny) stored in binary, single precision floats (32 bits). Other data are to be changed in the code itself (see topo and PVinit). the python script dataprint2.py plots the files q1, q2a from q1_xxxx.r4
the csh script mkmov generates series of images and combine them as a gif movie (uses Magick) additional_sources contains post-treatment routines (fortran) as well as the python script for the linear stability analysis (stab_v4.txt):
Files coher*f90 allow one to identify the coherent structures in the flow and analyse various of their properties.
