Epithelial cells subjected to low levels of irradiation can induce DNA damage response and senescence through variety of mechanisms. We perfomed ChIP-seq for H3K27ac to investigate the gene pathways activated to induce senescence in cholangiocytes. We subjected normal human cholangiocytes. NHC, to 10GY irradiation, incubated them for 5 days at 37C . Cells were then crosslinked with formaldehyde for 10 mins at room temperature. The cells were then utilized for ChIP with H3K27ac antibody and subjected to sequencing
