Influence of soil properties and food webs on Diaprepes Root Weevil Abundance and Citrus Tree Health in Florida

This study investigated interactions between Diaprepes root weevil (DRW, Diaprepes abbreviatus), soil properties, food webs, and citrus tree health in a 30-month-old orchard in central Florida. DRW is a major economic pest in citrus production, and understanding its abundance patterns is critical for sustainable pest management. The project examined potential biotic and abiotic drivers in soil and the surrounding habitat of DRW spatial patterns.
