资源简介:
Countries facing drought and water shortages are increasingly turning to the reuse of non-potable water, such as residential greywater, as a sustainable solution. In California, water agencies are even offering rebates for greywater system installations to reduce potable water use. However, the environmental risks of these systems are not well understood, highlighting the need for further research and exploration. This dataset includes 80 soil samples from 30 residences in Santa Clara County, CA, collected from three points within each household's laundry-to-landscape greywater systems. The data covers 20 soil characteristics, including pH, electrical conductivity (EC), soil organic matter, sodium adsorption ratio (SAR), cation exchange capacity (CEC), nutrient levels and Trace Metals. This dataset aims to provide insights into the impact of greywater reuse on soil quality, emphasizing the importance of code compliance and proper maintenance for sustainable greywater reuse.
