资源简介:

Source data and derived fields underlying all figures of the manuscript "Wave Phase Controls Bottom Shear and Sediment Resuspension in Shallow Seas: Evidence from In-situ Observations and Modeling" (Zhao et al., submitted to JGR: Oceans). The high-frequency ADV velocity and turbidity measurements, the processed wave parameters, and the model-derived fields underlying Figures 3–10 are publicly available in the Zenodo repository at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23934487 fig3_data.mat — Measured significant wave height against the linear-wave-theory predictor U*T*sinh(kh)/pi. Variables: x, y (N = 1173 paired samples); the source series wov, wave_tp and wave_height_adv (2736 samples); h = 10 m, g = 9.81 m s-2; fitted slope = 2.7917, R = 0.9147. fig4_data.mat — Twenty-day time series at 10-min resolution (2736 samples). Variables: stress (Pa), tur_min (mg L-1), u_10min, v_10min, w_10min (m s-1), wave_height_adv (m). fig5_data.mat — Wave-induced versus tide-induced bottom shear stress. Variables: U1_2 and tau1 (487 samples); U_tide2 and tau_tide (1976 samples). fig6_data.mat — Wave-cycle composites for calm conditions. Variables: tur_min4 (mg L-1), u_min4 and v_min4 (m s-1); 996 samples per cycle. fig7_data.mat — Phase-resolved bottom shear stress for three storm events. Variables: tau_tide_wave1, tau_tide_wave2, tau_tide_wave3 and the corresponding tau_wave1, tau_wave2, tau_wave3 (310, 72 and 80 samples). fig8_data.mat — SSC against wave-induced bottom shear stress. Variables: ssc_min_wave (mg L-1), tau_wave (Pa); 462 samples. fig9_data.mat — Modelled wave-phase effect on bottom shear stress over the Bohai Sea and the northern Yellow Sea. Variables: h (m), lat_tau and lon_tau (decimal degrees), tau_var (Pa), r_map (dimensionless), scale_rule (text). fig10_data.mat — Modelled wave-phase effect on SSC. Variables: ssc_diff (mg L-1), r_map (dimensionless), scale_rule (text). Note on fig9 and fig10: tau_var and ssc_diff are the differences between the phase-resolved and the phase-averaged ROMS runs, amplified by the depth-dependent factor given in scale_rule, r = 2.4 + 0.6*min(h,25)/25, which corresponds to raising the wave-induced stress coefficient from 0.5 to 1.5. r_map holds the per-grid-cell factor actually applied. The two gridded fields are 302 x 322 (latitude x longitude) on the model grid. All time series are stored as single-row MATLAB vectors. Files are MAT version 7 and can be read with scipy.io.loadmat.
