Why: Human mortality and morbidity are significantly associated with multiple environmental exposures covering extreme heat, air pollution, and hurricanes. Understanding the impact of environmental exposures on human health may help prevent people from people from developing various diseases, including respiratory, cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, reproductive issues, and certain types of cancer. How: The project will use spatiotemporal Bayesian model to estimate the cumulative risk of multiple environmental exposures. When: The project period covers 2023-2026. We anticipate the data will be shared by 2026.
