资源简介:
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is the most common cause of recurrent vertigo, but the exact pathogenesis still remains unknown. This study aimed to provide novel insights into a pathophysiology of recurrent BPPV using gene expression profiling combined with bioinformatics analysis. Overall design: Total RNAs were extracted from peripheral whole blood cells of four AUV patients and four normal controls. Using the Affymetrix Human Clariom S Assay, the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between BPPV and normal control samples were screened by the cut-off criteria (|fold changes| > 2 and p-value < 0.05). Functional enrichment analysis for DEGs was performed using Gene Ontology (GO) analysis, and the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed using the STRING database.
