Normalized Datasets of Klinghardt's Reconstruction of Marcion’s Gospel

These two datasets are the first normalized, peer-reviewed, and lexicographically enriched versions of Matthias Klinghardt's 2020/2021 reconstruction of Marcion’s Gospel to be published. The first dataset consists of human-readable Postclassical Greek, while the second lemmatizes and morphologically tags the text according to the openly licensed BibleWorks Greek Morphology schema. Among several recent critical reconstructions of Marcion's Gospel, Klinghardt's work pioneered a full critical edition and intricate and well-organized apparatus. His ambitiously maximalist approach to restoration took stock of an unprecedented number of manuscripts, lectionaries, and translations of the canonical Gospel of Luke, including over 500 variants which Klinghardt attributes to Marcion's Gospel as the earlier edition of Luke. These files are the concluding batch in a series of normalized and enriched datasets of major Greek reconstructions of Marcion's Gospel.
