资源简介:
These datasets provide supporting information for the article by the same title, published in the journal Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, which gives the context for the present information. The study consisted of two artificial stream experiments that exposed aquatic insect communities to Zn, Cu, and Cd ("Experiment 2") and to Zn, Cu, and Ni ("Experiment 3").
The present work is part of a cumulative study in which aquatic insect communities were also tested with Cd, Zn, and Cd+Zn mixtures in "Experiment 1."
The datasets and
supporting analyses consist of the following files:
1_SI-supplemental_analyses.pdf: Supporting information on (a)
periphyton composition, (b) bioaccumulation enrichment factors, (c)
chlorophyll (a) and mayfly abundance correlations, and (d) effect
concentration (EC) calculation considerations.
2_SI-detailed_data.xlsx:
This file includes detailed test data from both Experiment 2, conducted in
2014, and detailed test data from Experiment 3, conducted in 2015.
3_SI-EC_estimates.xlsx: Calculation
details of effect concentration (EC) estimates, organized in 4 tabs;
4_SI-SSD.xlsx:
Species sensitivity distribution (SSD) datasets and calculations;
5_Natural metal ratios.xlsx: Data sources and data details behind Figure 2
in the linked article, which shows ratios of common metal mixtures in various
natural waters around the world (Cd vs Zn, Cu vs Zn, Cu vs Ni)
6_Experiment2-Larvae Data-by size.xlsx: End of test larval
data counts, binned by size of individual (nearest millimeter), experiment 2, reported
by experimental stream number
7_Experiment3-Larvae Data-by size.xlsx: Same as #6, but for Experiment
3
