WA water resources

This data is part of FAO's global water information system, developed by the Land and Water Division. Data on water resources obtained from national sources are systematically reviewed to ensure consistency in definitions and between countries sharing the same river basin. The main mandate of the programme is to collect, analyze and disseminate information on water resources, water uses, and agricultural water management, with an emphasis on countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Total renewable surface water is the sum of the internal renewable surface water resources and the total external actual renewable surface water resources calculated as [total external renewable] + [Surface water produced internally]. The total renewable water resources per capita is the total annual natural renewable water resources per inhabitant (m3/inhab/yr)
