Workshop materials

Three stakeholder workshops were carried out in 2023 to investigate user needs for aftershock forecast products in three countries. Prior to the workshop, non-technical information on aftershock forecasting was provided to the participants and during the workshop, user needs were elicited through several small-group and large-group activities. The design of the workshop as well as details on its implementation and the data collected are presented in a separate manuscript.

This repository contains the documents needed to reproduce such a workshop, including the pre-workshop steps. It is geared at both modelers and scientists interested in the forecasting of aftershocks (as well as other natural hazards) and communications thereof; as well as (social) scientists interested in the elicitation of user needs for forecasts and other scientific communications.
