全国保护地面积数据，包括自然保护区、国家公园、风景名胜区、生态功能保护区等不同类型，明确自然保护地的名称、面积等关键信息。依据国家对自然保护地数量和边界的调整，及时更新自然保护地数据集。自然保护地在保护生物多样性和生态系统服务中的有效性评估。构建有效性评估指标体系，重点从空间布局效果和保护管理成效两个方面进行评估。在空间布局方面，主要分析全国与区域尺度自然保护地网络与重要物种栖息地、的空间吻合与重叠程度，评价指标包括自然保护地内的物种总数、受威胁物种数目及占全国比例、国家重点保护物种数目及占全国比例、重要物种栖息地面积及占全国比例、主要生态系统服务类型的功能量及占全国比例，生态系统服务功能重要区域面积及占全国比例等。在保护管理成效方面，主要评价保护地内外栖息地、人类活动及生态系统服务的变化情况，评价指标包括保护区内自然栖息地面积、人口数量、建设用地面积、公路里程数量、耕地面积、主要生态系统服务功能量等。

National Protected Area Area Dataset covers various types of protected areas including nature reserves, national parks, scenic and historic interest areas, and ecological function protection zones, with key information such as the name and area of each protected area clearly specified. The dataset is updated in a timely manner based on national adjustments to the number and boundaries of protected areas. This dataset supports the effectiveness assessment of protected areas in conserving biodiversity and delivering ecosystem services. An indicator system for effectiveness assessment is constructed, with evaluations focusing on two core dimensions: spatial layout effectiveness and conservation management performance. For the spatial layout dimension, the spatial coincidence and overlap degree between national and regional-scale protected area networks and important species habitats are primarily analyzed. The evaluation indicators include: total number of species within protected areas, number of threatened species and their proportion to the national total, number of nationally key protected species and their proportion to the national total, area of important species habitats and their proportion to the national total, functional quantity of major ecosystem service types and their proportion to the national total, and area of key regions for ecosystem service functions and their proportion to the national total, among others. For the conservation management performance dimension, changes of habitats, human activities and ecosystem services inside and outside protected areas are mainly evaluated. The evaluation indicators include: area of natural habitats within protected areas, population size, construction land area, highway mileage, cultivated land area, and functional quantity of major ecosystem service functions, among others.
