Building 1 is a 25 story office building whose lateral force resisting system consists of two inner-core shear wall elevator shafts complemented by an external beam-column frame system. The office building has three subterranean stories of underground parking. No earthquake damage (neither structural or architectural) was observed in this building. Building 1 was instrumented with four tri-axial accelerometers on the four exterior corners of the ground floor and four corresponding accelerometers on the roof (23rd floor). Large amounts of ambient vibrations are recorded.
