With the in-depth development of the fifth-generation (5G) wireless networks and the emergence of sixth-generation (6G) research, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) technology has gradually become a research frontier. However, when using 5G NR reference signals for radar sensing, the widely used two-dimensional discrete Fourier transform algorithm leads to ghost targets, primarily due to their overly large periodic time-frequency structure. To address this issue, this letter proposes an innovative scheme to eliminate ghost targets by reconstructing the time-frequency resource locations of the demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) within the physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). Specifically, we reconstruct the mapping position of the DM-RS in the time-frequency domain resources to make it periodic with 7 symbols. Through simulation verification, this scheme outperforms the original arrangement in radar sensing performance while having almost no impact on communication performance. This study provides useful insights and guidance for the design of wireless signal frames in 5G-Advanced and 6G ISAC systems.
