资源简介:
The purpose of an admission register was to record basic details about children admitted to the school, and about their parents or guardians. The registers were also used to record the progress of the children through various classes and the date of their leaving the school. These volumes contain information pertaining to each pupil including: date of admission; pupil's name, date of birth and religious denomination; name of previous school and date of leaving. The following details are recorded about the child's parents or guardians: name, residence and occupation. The pupil's date of admission to each subsequent grade and date of leaving the school are also recorded. The first volume of this series is dated 1930 and the admissions begin with the first student registration number being number one. The same numbering system continues till Volume 7 which is the years 1954-1958. During 1955 the numbering system changes on the 15/11/1954 at registration 5102 to no 1 followed by the year written ' 1/55' each continuing volume to the end at 1975 all begin each year anew with the number one followed by the year. The last entry is 60/1975.There is eleven volumes in the collection all in reasonable condition with some rebinding and repair work. The series appears to be complete.
