Sequestration of CDH1 by MAD2L2 prevents premature APC/C activation prior to anaphase onset

Mitosis in a U2OS cell transfected with MAD2L2 siRNA in which the chromosomes are visualised by expression of mCherry-tagged histone H2B (red). The red channel is superimposed on the transmission image. Confocal images were collected with a Nikon C1-si laser scanning confocal microscope with 1 frame every 5 minutes. Total length of movie, 303 frames (25.25 hours).
