ALMASI Registry of Training Resources and Classification Schema. Dataset

This record contains Version 1 (V1) of the ALMASI Registry of Training Resources and Classification Schema, a curated dataset documenting training materials relevant to scholarly publishing, Open Science, and the Diamond Open Access ecosystem, which constitutes Milestone 4 (M4) of the ALMASI Project.

The deposit includes two files:

1. Registry of Training Resources (Excel dataset)

This spreadsheet provides a structured catalogue of training resources collected across multiple international platforms, infrastructures, and institutional initiatives. Each entry is described using a harmonised metadata schema that includes:

Master resource title, sub‑component, URL, and identifier

Brief description and resource level

Applicability (books, journals, or both)

Regional coverage (Europe, Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean, or global)

Resource type and file format

Target audience

DOAS subject areas and learning topics

Languages (original and translated)

Licensing information

Authorship, ownership, publisher, and publication date

Relevant stakeholder roles

The structure and definitions of all fields follow the methodological specifications provided in Annex I – Methodological Datasheet for the Collection and Description of Training Resources, and also take into account Annex II – Additional Metadata to Capture Training Practices, both of which are described in the ALMASI Registry of Training Resources and Classification Schema.
