Urban classification files for India

This repository contains files used in the analyses described in the paper "Estimating the Economic Cost of Urban Expansion on Land Cover in India." The CSV files provide the geolocation of sample points used in the Random Forest classification algorithm for the years 2015 and 2024. The .tif files are the predicted outputs of the Random Forest classifier. Because the files are too large to be provided as single national layers, they are split by region of India and should be mosaicked before use. Files prefixed with UrbanClassification_2015 correspond to the 2015 classification, and files prefixed with Urban2024 correspond to the 2024 classification.
