Canadian Gallup Poll, April 2000

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political and social issues. The questions ask opinions of the past federal election, the upcoming federal election, and confidence in public institutions. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as who will be the leader of the Canadian Reform Conservative Alliance (CRCA), preference for male/female boss, Jean Chretien, and road testing for elderly. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables. Topics of interest include: election; CRCA; male/female boss; confidence in public institutions; road testing; Jean Chretien; and political party preference.
