资源简介:
This dataset contains data obtained along research on deconvoluting the interaction of slip, twinning, and notch on the deformation response of single crystals of an austenitic manganese (Hadfield) steel using detailed finite element simulations. The finite element simulations employ a rate-dependent crystal plasticity constitutive model that incorporates both slip and twinning plastic deformation mechanisms. The model accounts for the spatially non-uniform appearance of new twin-related orientations, hardening due to slip–twin interactions, and modified properties of the twinned crystal. Limited experiments on single-crystal dog-bone and single-edge notch specimens, with two crystal orientations, were also conducted to aid the simulation. Simulations were performed with the material parameters identified based on the experimental data and included in Tables 4 and 5 and for single crystal orientations reported in Table 3. The calculations have been performed with AceFEM.The experimental data reported in the article are listed in Exp.dat files, while simulations results in Sim.dat files. They include data points being the results of the performed experiment and calculations with the proposed model for the cases studied in the article. The tabular format used enables these curves to be reconstructed in any graphical program like gnuplot, MSExcel, Mathematica or similar enabling one to compare their model predictions with our results. The type and meaning of subsequent columns of data is described in details in file: readme.txt.
