This dataset contains survey responses from 400 e-cigarette users in Indonesia aged 18–35, collected between May and July 2025 through an online questionnaire. The study investigates the influence of social media advertising, direct promotion, and peer group attitudes on the perception that e-cigarettes are healthier alternatives, with media literacy examined as a moderating variable.<br>All items were measured using a 5-point Likert scale, covering constructs such as social media exposure, peer norms, promotional encounters, media literacy skills, and health-related perceptions of e-cigarettes. The dataset is anonymized and provided in CSV format, accompanied by a codebook describing the variables.<br>This dataset can be used for replication studies, secondary analysis, and methodological training in quantitative social science research.
