资源简介:
This data contains simulated observations of the population abundance (numbers) and catch (in numbers) by each fleet described by the annual age of the fish. A reference to the simulation model used to develop this data and its mathematical structure can be found here: Saul, Steven, Elizabeth Brooks, and David Die. 2020. How fisher behavior affects stock assessment: insights from an agent-based modeling approach. Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences 77(11): 1749-1757. DOI:10.1139/cjfas-2019-0025. This dataset is one of a suite of eight for which statistical methods and machine learning algorithms were used to simulate various measures of fish population health, including abundance surveys, mortality estimates, and fisheries catch and effort reports. Related datasets are R5.x289.000:0001 (doi:10.7266/n7-nwff-ap81, simulated logbook data from a modeled commercial fishing vessel); R5.x289.000:0003 (doi:10.7266/n7-bvvg-rz27, simulated life history characteristics of sample fish caught by a simulated commercial fisher); R5.x289.000:0005 (doi:10.7266/n7-0v4e-v691, spatial distribution of simulated oil-induced mortality in Gulf reef fish species); R5.x289.000:0006 (doi:10.7266/n7-gtwq-5y46, simulated fishing effort by handline and longline commercial vessels); R5.x289.000:0007 (doi:10.7266/n7-qf7p-gt16, spatial distribution of simulated annual catch of Gulf reef fish species); R5.x289.000:0008 (doi:10.7266/n7-1cb3-8j47, simulated annual reported Gulf reef fish species abundance and biomass); and R5.x289.000:0009 (doi:10.7266/7XFDXRD9, Gulf reef fish abundance statistically modeled using video survey methods).
