We report aging-induced transcriptional alterations of mouse intestinal stem cells (ISCs), progenitor cells and Paneth cells. ISCs, progenitor cells and stem cell niche (Paneth cells) were isolated from young (2- to 3-month-old) and aged (23- to 27-month-old) Lgr5-eGFP-IRES-CreERT2 mice. For each condition (cell type, age and sex), 5 to 7 biological replicates were analyzed. For RNA-seq libraries of Paneth cell samples, technical replicates were prepared. mRNA profiles were generated by the SC3-seq method (Nakamura et al., Nucleic Acids Res., 2015), using Illumina NextSeq500.
