The work refers to a dichotomous key for identifying genera and subgenera from the Brazilian Amazon. The work was carried out mainly by searching the literature, in addition to observing the specimens in the collections already mentioned. Large databases were also used. The data collected and generated during this study are available in the cited literature, in the Entomological Collection of Mato Grosso Eurides Furtado (CEMT) and Instituto Nacional de Pesquisa da Amazônia (INPA).
