资源简介:
The study involves complete genome and transcriptome of native Shewanella sp., isolated from industrial effluents of Peru. The information obtained will generate knowledge about the metabolic pathways and the genes involved in the biodegradation of azo dyes. Azo dyes constitute 60-70% of all textile dyes used globally, with millions of tons discharged annually into aquatic ecosystems. These synthetic compounds are highly recalcitrant and pose severe environmental and human health risks. Shewanella xiamengensis LC6 demonstrates remarkable capability to decolorize multiple azo dye classes, yet the genetic basis of this versatility remains unknown.
